New Book Jitters

Have you ever been in a place where you put everything on the line? A place that you thought that you would never be? You are excited because this is a direction in which you know you were called to take but nonetheless everything is on the line! Welcome to the world of being an author.

Over the next month I will start marketing my book. I have taken the route of self-publishing to understand what it takes from start to finish to see if I could make a successful book. Not just a book but making a book successful. Will it work? Only time will tell. One thing I do know is that I have put every bit of my effort into being successful up until this point.

What does this feel like? Fun, exciting, nerve-racking, aggravating and any other emotion you can think of when something you value so much is on the line. It is a work of love. Love of writing, love of telling a great story and love of taking a positive outlook and putting it all into this book. What will happen from here? I do not know but look forward to the journey.
